BASHMAYA means “In Heaven.” It is the name of this small devotional journal and its single aim: to lift the eyes of the heart toward Heaven through the treasures of the Catholic faith.
Here you will find reflections on Jesus Christ — true God and true man — and on his Mother, the Virgin Mary, honored under her many titles and remembered in her great apparitions at Guadalupe, Lourdes, Fatima, and Medjugorje. You will meet the saints and the mystics: stigmatists like St. Francis and St. Padre Pio, contemplatives like St. Teresa of Ávila and St. John of the Cross, and witnesses such as Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich, Maria Simma, and Catalina Rivas. And you will encounter the Church’s sober, hopeful vision of the last things.
BASHMAYA is a work of love. We hope it becomes, for you, a quiet doorway toward Heaven.
